The Poetic Movement in the Ancient Algerian Cities "Tehert" as a Model

Abstract

The ancient Maghreban metropolitan cities, which are considered as centers of cultural and civilization influence, with their contributions in literary and poetic movement, where it had a distinguished presence.  The city of Tihart was one of them, through poets who reached a great position in poetry, until they became famous in the East and the West.  Bakr Ben Hammad Tiharti was one of the famous poets who participated in the literary movement in the third century A.H., and Bakr Bin Hammad’s poem in the satire ‘Imran Bin Hattan’ is evidence of the contribution of ancient maghreb to the poetic movement.
