This study aims to highlight the multiplicity of languages and dialects in the contemporary Algerian novel، by returning to pioneering novel models in the field of contemporary Algerian writing، such as Ahlam Mosteghanemi، Wasini Al-Araj، Ezzedine Jalawji، Fadela Al-Farouq، Kamal Qarour.
According to an analytical study، this research will answer a number of questions، the most important of which are: What are the most prominent transformations of narrative language in the contemporary Algerian novel، and what are its historical stations? How did language serve novelistic renewal? What is the nature of the linguistic shift in the novel? How did the novel write the Arabic language، which embraced foreign languages and local national dialects? Why this multilingualism? What are its aesthetics?
