The Poetry of Sheikh Taher Al-Jazairi: Collection, Arrangement, and Introduction

Abstract

While Sheikh Taher Al-Jazairi is well-known as one of the pioneers of reform and a prominent writer and scholar, he is not widely recognized as a poet. He wrote poetry  for various purposes and occasions. This study aims to explore Sheikh Taher Al- Jazairi as a poet. It examines many poems written for different occasions and discusses the main themes. Additionally, the study presents a collection of Sheikh  Taher Al-Jazairi’ s poems that have not been identified before. The researcher  gathers, organizes, and introduces these poems and explains where they can be found.
