Abstract

Pragmatics is a new theory of modern linguistics studies, developed by the English scholar Austin and developed by his disciple Searl. The Pragmatics theory has been widely adopted by postmodern linguistics researchers. This article aims to study the most important features of deliberative thinking by focusing on verbs, context (linguistic and grammatical), and informational purposes.

It also aims to study the pragmatic objectives of questions  in Mubarak Djalluh’s poetry collection Dukhan El Ya’ss (Smoke of Despair)
