Résumé

The article entitled: "The Intellectual Arab and the Contemporary Issues: A Reading in the World View in Bahaa Taher’s novel “El Hob Fi Elmanfa” (Love in Exile) as a Model" deals with one of the basic concepts presented by the critic Lucien Goldmann which is "World view", this mediator which distanced us from the mechanism of the relationship between literary creativity and reality which was dominant in most approaches.   The Goldmann approach enables us to deeply understand the texts in their natural space without any dogmatic and projectionist judgments. As the class of intellectuals was the most present and prominent in the novel, we attempted to highlight its view of the world which seemed defeated and alienated to read it more in its sociocultural context where a number of conditions and circumstances have contributed to its activation.
