Oral teaching as part of the training of future French language teachers, what are the challenges?

Abstract

The choice of pedagogical support has become decisive in the teaching of the French language in this case the oral. A range of support is currently available, depending on training methods and contexts. In Algeria, the teaching of French as a foreign language remains a challenge in that it is not easy to get learners to build a communication skill and to acquire new means of oral expression. Thanks to its strengths, multimedia support has always attracted teachers of the French language to the point that it has become a privileged tool in the activities of comprehension / production of the oral. Its exploitation has given full and complete satisfaction especially in relation to its ability to motivate, and individualization of learning and therefore the autonomy of the learner.
