Figurative formation in Andalusian compositional poetry - A study of examples of poetry from the 5th century AH -

Abstract

This study deals with versions of the Andalusian poetry of the fifth century AH, from the perspective of metaphors and similes that are considered among the most important artistic elements in literature. The study sheds light on metaphors and similes in order to help the audience to use imagination, to feel the given situations that reflect nature in the Andalusian poems. Finally, this study discusses the sentimental and visual means of metaphors and similes by comparison and contrast of original expressions in order to explain the situations and the scenes of life.
