Deliberative political journalistic discourse - Faisal Al-Qasim as a model -

Abstract

This study aims to refute what had been reported on the pragmatics as a basket of linguists where we get rid of the elements that can not be detected by conventional methods. It attempts to clarify its foundations, and to concretize the results of this hypothesis by applying it to political journalistic discourse as an illustration. In the light of this study, it has been found that this kind of discourse is most suited to the pragmatic methodology. Thus the new conception of language has indeed changed the point of view with regard to inter-human communication; In this case discourse becomes objective after being a tool and at the present time it is considered as the cornerstone of the analysis of the discourse commonly known by the term (enunciation)
