The subjective perspective in the novel “The Lady of Maqam” by Wasini Al-Araj

Abstract

This study seeks to present the manifestations of the subjective perspective in the novel “The Lady of Maqam” by Wassini Al-Araj. The theoretical framework for the subjective perspective is defined, which is intended to present events based on the vision of the characters and not the vision of the narrator. Then, we move to the applied field, which is based on analyzing the nature of the subjective perspective in This novel is a technique used by the writer to reveal the characters’ visions of the world in the period that the novel dealt with, which relates to the nineties in Algeria.
