Characteristics of delayed speech science From Ibn Khaldun's point of view

Abstract

This article addresses the issue of the basic characteristics that distinguished Islamic theology among the later scholars from the point of view of Ibn Khaldun, who provides us in the “Introduction” with a general assessment of the developments of this science in terms of subject matter, method, and purpose. Based on this, we will try to see whether the method of the later scholars that Ibn Khaldun spoke about brought about a radical change in the doctrinal contents of the theologians, or if the change was only at the level of method.
