The self/other dialectic in the Indonesian critical presentation

Abstract

This research comes to examine the relationship of the self to the other in the Adonis critical proposition. It is a research that seeks to touch upon the essence of the relationship between heritage and culture and the extent of their interaction in the production of the poetic text of modernity, through discussing the critical perception of the critical poet and theorist “Adonis” as a pioneer of critical theorizing of contemporary poetic modernity, in addition. To being one of the most contemporary Arab modernist poets who embody the depth of the dialectical conflict between the two sides of this dualistic opposition through his creative path that is open to experimentation.
