The degree of understanding of the employees of the education directorates In Irbid Governorate due to the implications of globalization culture

Abstract

This study aimed was to identify the degree to which employees understand implication of globalization culture as well as drawing attention toward this phenomenon through answering the following questions:

1-  To What degree do employees of Irbid directorates of education understand globalization culture in its different implications ;  political، economic، social، and  cultural?  2- Are there any significant differences in subjects' degree of understanding globalization culture due to directorate، sex، educational qualification،. Job little and experiences?

The study was conducted on a sample of (181) subjects at  Irbid،  first، second، and third directorates of Education during spring 2007 . The study revealed the following :  1- Economic implications of globalization was ranked first  followed by social implications and finally political implications .  2- Item number (12) ( advanced countries adopt globalization culture to serve their own interests ) was ranked first followed by item (27)،  ( cultural globalization threatens value systems in our society ) whereas item number (2) (economic globalization fights poverty and unemployment) was ranked (29th) and item number (11) (political globalization culture work for democracy) was ranked (28 th).  3- Significant statistical differences in subjects understanding of economic and cultural implications  of globalization due to their directorate، were found، as well as in their understanding of all globalization implications due to their، work experiences and educational qualification .
