The teacher as a determinant of school success In the secondary education stage

Abstract

       Success in secondary education is one of the determining keys to academic success. This explains the growing interest of many researchers and specialists in the field of education in the factors that could explain it, because success constitutes one of the major challenges of educational systems throughout the world. The Algerian education system is no exception, hence the multiplication of efforts to improve the conditions which would help the learner to succeed in the baccalaureate. The determining factors of academic success are multiple and encompass different aspects: family, school, socio-economic and cultural. In this article we try to highlight one of the most determining factors: the teacher, on whom the entire educational process depends.
