Educational policy in Algeria (1923-1972)
Abstract
Education is considered one of the most important sectors that France was interested in to impose its colonial policy in Algeria and which consists of drawing up difficult programs designed for the Indigenous people to make them illiterate.
But the national movement has always claimed the right of the Algerian people to teach.
After independence, the Algerian State devoted all material and human resources and drew up programs aimed at returning to the sources of Arab-Muslim culture on the one hand, and on the other by following modern technology.
