This study addresses Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as a complex neurodevelopmental disorder that appears in early childhood, affecting behavioral, linguistic, and social abilities. The aim is to investigate genetic, environmental, and psychological factors involved in ASD, reviewing key explanatory theories such as the Mirror Neuron Theory and Theory of Mind. A descriptive-analytical methodology was adopted through reviewing literature and past research. The main questions focus on the causes of ASD, its symptoms, and the role of genetic and psychological factors in its development. The study notes that a definitive scientific explanation for these relationships remains under investigation.
