Résumé

Popular literature is defined as the world of improvisation and spontaneity mined with implicit meaning, loaded with expressive and suggestive symbols and connotations, including popular proverbs that formed an important tributary of its tributaries, because of its social, educational, historical, and psychological principles and data. This study aims to investigate the patterns of female self-domination in the popular proverb, based on the space occupied by women in the popular heritage, especially in Algerian society, in addition to the art of perceptions that refer around them, starting from the problem: How did the patterns of female self-domination manifest themselves in popular proverbs? What significance do you seek to enshrine through this?
